Donations
If you would have paid to rent or buy a cultural-issues textbook, if you would have paid for instructional materials to use with your students, if you would have paid for professional learning materials for yourself, if you would have paid for resources for your employees…. you’re in luck! This website is basically a free textbook, free instructional materials, free professional learning materials, and free resources for clinicians and team leaders. There are no fees, no subscriptions, and no other costs.
If you happen to be able to pay a little bit, though, or make a donation to support students or learners instead, I would appreciate the support.
Pay what you can, if you can, for this Culture for SLP website
Donate to a scholarship fund instead
My husband and I started a scholarship fund at the University of Georgia in 2011, and we enjoy knowing that students benefit from it every year. You could mark your donation as a “Tribute” and name this Culture in SLP website as the “honoree.”
Donate to Adult Education instead
Adult education, high-school equivalency, adult literacy, family literacy, and adult English-language learning programs provide free classes for adults who are trying to make important changes in their lives. To donate to the program I work with, select “Adult Ed/GED Funds” as your selected “campaign” at the link below — or your county or a community college near you probably has similar programs that could benefit from your support.
