Section Five: Applications in Clinical Service Delivery

We have been laying our groundwork of principles, models, standards, definitions, metaphors, requirements, and thought processes. Now it’s time to apply those pieces to your work in clinical service or communication care!

Section Five addresses the similarities and the distinctions among four kinds of situations: multi-cultural, cross-cultural, multi-linguistic, and cross-linguistic. These modules also emphasize our responsibility to consider both universal human needs and individual human needs. Our actions in clinical service delivery are designed to recognize, respect, and respond to all of these complexities, for all clients and families.
