Section Six: Applications in the Domains of Professional Practice
Our Scope of Practice as speech-language pathologists includes our efforts in advocacy and outreach, supervision, education, research, and administration and leadership. Section Six allows us to think about multi-cultural, cross-cultural, multi-linguistic, and cross-linguistic applications in these domains of professional practice.

“Multi-” means many. “Cross-” is your bridge from yourself to one other specific colleague, student, manager, or research participant.
